Mamata criticizes Centre over Bangladesh talks, says "unilateral decisions not acceptable"
Shubman Gill and Avesh Khan, who are reserve players for India in the T20 World Cup 2024, are expected to return home after India's Group A match against Canada. This match is scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 15, at the Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground in Lauderhill, Florida.
Gill and Avesh travelled with the 15-member squad as reserves to New York for the prestigious T20 tournament. According to a report by Cricbuzz, both players accompanied the team on a chartered flight to Fort Lauderdale after India's seven-wicket victory against the USA on June 12. The flight was jointly arranged by India and the USA following their clash in New York.
The two players will return home before India's Super 8 stage, as there have been no unexpected injuries in the main squad. However, if a player from the main squad gets injured, either Gill or Avesh might have to stay back with the team until the end of India's campaign.
